Wind Renewable Energy Certificates - Anywhere

If your utility does not offer a 100% renewable energy plan, you can buy Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from a third party supplier. We recommend Bonneville Energy Foundation for this purpose. A typical home consumes about 10,000 kWh per year. A larger home will consume more, an apartment much less. Each REC covers 1,000 kwh of electricity.
